Sayulita is a surfing/fishing village about 30 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast of Mexico. We now call Sayulita home.
Headed to Sayulita? Below is my list of shops not to be missed. Most establishments accept CASH ONLY so come prepared.
BAM. Revolución del Seuño is one of my favorite stores anywhere. The owners/designers create killer collection that are hecho con amor in Mexico.

Brittney Borjeson has 2 locations in Sayulita. Evoke is across the street from Petit Hotel Hafa on Calle Jose Mariscal. Spirit is next to Wakika Ice Cream on Calle Marlín. Check out the breathtaking Huichol yarn-covered cow skulls.
PachaMama is located on Calle Delfínes near the beach. This is the famed gypsy/boho boutique of the French Mignot family. It's hard to beat their embroidered Mexican caftan dresses.
Tanana gallery is located on Calle Revolución near the bridge. It is associated with the non-profit Huichol Center for Cultural Survival and they have beautiful Huichol jewelry, bags, and art.
Artefakto has beautiful indigenous handcrafted works. I especially like the micro-bead Huichol bracelets, Peruvian bags, Otomi fabrics, and Mezonte mezcals. It is near the plaza across the street from Chocobanana.
Ula is a little boutique located on Calle Marlín. Clothes. Jewelry. Art. And cute swimsuits made by the owner/designer.
Huichol artisans on the Plaza
There are several Huichol artisans who show their work right outside of Chocobanana on the plaza. They have great pieces and you can often see them beading a bracelet. I'm a big fan.
