Sayulita is full of little places to eat. Everything is casual and kids are welcome everywhere. Most establishments are CASH ONLY so come prepared. Here are a few of our favorites:
Delicioso, healthy, beautiful. Across the street from Petit Hotel Hafa on Calle Jose Mariscal.
Right on the beach, they serve massive smoothies and good veggie burritos and rice bowls. We also dig the El Caribeño breakfast burrito with plantains.
Near the river and the beach, Palmar Trapiche has food and its own beers on tap - all served up in a relaxing outdoor setting. Hammocks and space for the kids to run.
Near the plaza, this joint serves up great pizza and pasta with style. We eat there often.
Isaac has a variety of smoothie choices, but he'll also make 'em however you like 'em. Located on the corner of Calle Pelicanos and Avenida Revolución at the bridge.
Eat on the street. Calle Jose Mariscal. The chile relleno taco is my fave. Yum.
Right on the plaza. Good lattes, etc. We eat breakfast here often and I get the Huevos a la Mexicana every time.
Open and airy. Higher end but they do accept credit cards. We like that our kids can play on the beach while we take our time.
Cool folks. Good stuff.
Once inside, this place is dark and cozy. Located on Avenida Revolucíon.
Super ice cream. Lots of flavors. 2 locations - 1 near the plaza on Avenida Revolucíon and 1 on Calle Marlín towards the beach.
Slow-cooked food. Lunchtime only. We love Roberto's smile, his fresh vegetables and his coconut shrimp.
A staple on the plaza. The kids like it because they get a chocolate-dipped sprinkle-covered banana on a stick with their meal. I like it because I can visit the Huichol artisans while waiting for our breakfast.

You can get great cocktails at Le Zouave, a little gem that is the bar/lounge of Petit Hotel d'Hafa . Located on Calle Jose Mariscal.
Sweet spot on the plaza at the corner of Jose Mariscal and Calle Marlín.
This bar is a surprise - hidden above an OXXO on the beach.
